Well served by bus routes, yet family friendly with nice old homes and good size yards. My household has two bikes, well equipped for utility cycling with storage racks and bags that can be add/removed as needed. I usually bike to work about 9 miles each way, even when its cold - but if lazy or really bad weather its easy to catch the bus/light rail.
