Rep. Earl Blumenauer(D - Oregon)

Just saw this article at PolitickerOR from Thursday. Representative Earl Blumenauer states he is not interested in becoming Transportation Secretary. He pushes Mortimer Downey as a possible candidate. I had always assumed that Blumenauer was something of a long shot for the position.

I am still hoping we get some “new blood” for this cabinet position, though, and Mortimer Downey is about the opposite of that.
