Austin Bicycle Advisory Council Meeting Thursday, New Location

The Austin Bicycle Advisory Council will be meeting at a new location this Thursday, as a temporary arrangement. City staff will not be attending this meeting. Purpose of the meeting will be discussing bylaws.

The meeting will be held, this time, at the Texas Bicycle Coalition headquarters, in east Austin at 6th and Chicon. Meeting time is 6:30pm.

League of Bicycling Voters Meets Friday at Opal Divine’s

The League of Bicycling Voters is having a meeting on Friday, at Opal Divine’s on 6th from 5pm-7pm. Here’s what they will be discussing:

I. Project Catapult (Planning and involvement process for major investments in bicycle projects/programs)

II. Coordination of Planning Projects / Development Review by LOBV Volunteers

III. Discussion and Possible Vote on Political Action Committee Formation and Management of PAC

IV. Action Plan for Membership Recruitment

VI. Update on LOBV Projects
