I just received an action alert from Transportation for America stating that two Republican senators, Kit Bond of Missouri and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, have put forward amendments to the national stimulus bill that provide HUGE giveaways for the road lobby and strip transit funding, specifically funding for high-speed rail.
