Armstrong's TT bike was recovered Wednesday sans wheels. Image courtesy of Cyclelicious.
Cyclelicious is reporting that yesterday Sacramento police recovered Lance Armstrong’s one-of-a-kind time trial bike that was stolen on Saturday at the Tour of California along with 3 other Team Astana bikes. A local resident turned it in but is not considered a suspect.
The pictures from Cyclelicious show the found bike without wheels so it looks like it was in the process of being chopped for parts. California? Chop shop? Ah, we found our two degrees of James Clayton.
