The City of Austin has released a draft of its 2020 Bicycle Master Plan. This is the first update to the City’s bike plan since 1998. City staff will be having an open house to answer questions and get feedback:
Bicycle Master Plan Open House
Wednesday. March 4
5:30- 8 PM
One Texas Center, 505 Barton Springs Rd, 3rd Floor Training Room
Drinks and snacks will be provided
This is one of the most important developments for cycling infrastructure in a decade. We’ll have a review of the plan in the coming days, but please turn out and make your voice heard.
And while your at it, join the hundreds of other cyclists who’ve signed the Austin Bike Plan Petition so the City of Austin knows we are serious about making this a reality.
