This weekend was the North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Indianapolis. The show is a meeting of America’s best custom bike builders entering its fifth year.

Unfortunately, due to family and work commitments I was unable to attend this year’s show, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy some of the great bikes. Here’s a quick round up of some of the image galleries from NAHBS.

- Urban Velo has four gallery pages from the show: Thursday Part 1 and Part 2, Friday Part 1 and Part 2. Bikes not to miss included some great transportation bikes from Joseph Ahearne, an incredible paint job on a bike from Austin’s own Kirklee, a retro roadster kids bike from Keith Anderson, and a very organic bamboo bike by Calfee.

- pedals on Flickr has a great photo stream here with a focus on the transportation, single speed, and cargo bikes at NAHBS.

- Velonews has two galleries from the show here and here. My favorite is the Speedvagen track bike with smooth lines painted WWII army green.

- UPDATE: Cyclelicious has a photo gallery up now with the winners of the various categories at the NAHBS.

My agency created a micro-social campaign for the NAHBS:

Took tons of pics, talked to many builders and cyclists and saw a lot of friends from up north. I hope it comes to Austin next year, as it was mentioned to be a finalist.
