There are four more opportunities to put in your two cents’ worth on the Austin Bike Plan before it becomes THE LAW. You can look at our full calendar for more details along the way but this is what’s left:
April 14: The plan will be considered for recommendation by the Urban Transportation Commission
April 28: The Parks and Recreation Board will be briefed on the plan
May 12: The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to possibly give their recommendation to council
May 21: Austin City Council will take action on the plan
If you haven’t been at previous meetings and want to have your say before it’s too late, get to one of these meetings! And if you haven’t done so already, please sign the Austin Bike Plan Petition or visit the site to forward the petition to a friend.
