For concert goers not wanting to be ragged out before the show or getting back to the transportation after the show. Those heels are good to look at but there well be no blocks of walking in them. It is the new service economy and there are many of us unable to huff a load of drunks in a trailer. BTW if the pedi-cabs got hooked up with a electric drive wouldn't they be playing on the same field as the carts. They could transport more for less, increasing the operators revenue. Adapt and prosper! I live in Hutto and operate a motor coach so this whole argument that is running seems a bit silly. Sounds like turf protection. I too,work for tips so I am well aware of the financial situation every one in this transportation business faces. Between insurance companies, taxi lobbyist, the police, it is down right a struggle making a living. Maybe Chris should outfit a hundred electric pedi cabs and take it to the streets. Let the best out fit survive. If you had to work less for the same money and customers get to the venues faster do you think that the old manual pedi cab well survive? Time well tell. Good luck folks and when I'm down around the district and you hear a couple of short honks that might just be me. People that have displayed a tendency towards physical violence should not be dealing with the public in a service atmosphere. He has taken down these accounts becuase he knows this is damaging information. Along with Capital Cruisers Myspace site which displayed an image similar to a gangsta-rap groups fascination with money and bling. Now he wants his image to be "environmentally responsible" ? Well then Chris I guess you're probably redesigning that website arent ya? That's okay, the internet has a memory and these accounts live on. And the most damaging thing about them is that this is not slanderous rumor, he wrote them HIMSELF, in the braggartly fashion typical of an adolescent thug that is so full of himself that it is repellent. So he may be "your boy", but that doesnt mean city officials are going to look kindly on these accounts. And he may think he's earned his "big boy pants", but I just don't see it. If Chris was humble, nice guy with a clean record he probably wouldnt be encountering such resentment. But one look at his history displays an arrogance that is really, really distasteful, and then he has this history that he's been so kind to share with everybody...I'm sorry, man, he may be your friend, but...
