Our good friend and prolific bike event writer Jason over at Austin Texas Bike … Stuff has had a bad week and could use a hand. He’s had the misfortune of not one but THREE major bike parts break on him this week and he’s out a few hundred dollars. Trust me, I feel his pain.
If you have any of the following parts and can uh, part with them, let him know.
- 1″ threaded road fork w/ ~17.5cm steerer tube (for 57cm litespeed tuscany). Carbon isn’t important, in fact I’d rather have a nice steel fork for this bike.
- 110BCD 170mm square tapered crankset. JIS or ISO is fine, I just need something sturdy enough to jump off of things and not crumple under my might.
- Off-road worthy seat, preferably in black. I have a busted DK dirt-jumper seat I’ll make do with for now, but it’s not really built to be sat upon.
Jason is one guy who certainly deserves the hep for all the things he’s done for Austin’s cycling community.
