As we reported last week Russell Pickavance is gathering stories for the Bike Month Guide 2009 and his deadline is April 15. I talked to him at the Austin Cycling Association meeting last night and he still wants to hear from you.

The Bike Month Guide  is going to be a tabloid-size (like the Chronicle) paper, probably 60 pages or so, and will be printed in quantities of the tens of thousands. That means a whole lotta Austinites could be reading your submissions.

Once again, here’s what he needs for the guide:

Little poems, cartoons, small stories about why you love your bike, anything creative. All submissions will be read, all will not be published. We also need listings for any and all events that are happening, big or small to be included on our calendar. If you are throwing a party in May and you ride a bike it can go in this publication.
