The ACA is continually getting great events together that serve elementary school students across central Texas, providing helmets and safe riding instruction along with holding special events like “bike rodeos.”
One thing they really need for all these events? You. Help them out by volunteering at one of the upcoming events below:

Bike rodeo, helmet distribution for grades preK-5.
Volunteer hours: 9:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Event time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Volunteers needed to supervise bike skills courses, fit helmets, and check bikes.

Bike Rodeo course for K-6th grades
Volunteer Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Event hours: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Volunteers needed to supervise skills course, check in participants, fit loaner helmets, and hand out safety materials. Spanish speaking volunteers are VERY appreciated.

Helmets for Bertram Third Graders
Bertram Elementary, 315 Main St, Bertram, 78605
This annual event “gives back” to Bertram for their service to the ACA’s Armadillo Hill Country Classic and their support for cycling in the Hill Country.
Bike safety presentation, free helmet distribution and fitting for all third graders.
Event hours: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Volunteers needed to fit helmets and assist in bike safety presentation for the best-behaved third graders you will ever meet. We usually carpool to Bertram and celebrate with lunch afterwards!
