Early Voting started today for the Saturday, May 9 Austin City Council Election. On the ballot are the Mayor’s race as well as five other council seats, an effective super majority of the council. With issues like passage of the new 2020 Master Bike Plan and more importantly ensuring it is fully funded coming in front of Council, it is important that the cycling community get out and vote in strength.

While you can vote early at any of the permanent or mobile voting locations in Travis County until Tuesday, May 5, the League of Bicycling Voters is holding a Get Out the Vote Rally this Sunday and inviting all cyclists to attend and go vote afterwards:
