I got an e-mail this morning from Erin Franklin, the owner of a local talent agency called Agence Talent, who is looking for bike messengers for a national commercial that will be shot in Austin. They are looking for “a bike messenger in his early 20s, any ethnicity, no visible tattoos, short hair.” I’m guessing male by the description. Auditions will be this Saturday.

I thought the exact same thing. They don’t really want a bike messenger then, just someone who could sorta look like one, maybe. Enough to fool suburbanites I guess.
