Tomorrow, the Giro d’Italia, the first grand tour of the season, begins it’s three week journey around Italy celebrating its 100th year. The Giro has a special place in my heart as it was the first bike race I ever watched years ago when Versus (then OLN) used to do daily coverage a la the Tour de France. They dropped the coverage a few years later, and I was limited to online streaming video which was pixelated and didn’t always work.
Well good news for those who have Universal Sports who decided at the last minute to add daily taped coverage to their schedule. Unfortunately, Time Warner does not carry Universal Sports, but do not despair. They will also be doing live coverage on their site here.
Che bello! The Giro is back, baby!
