Austin on Two Wheels would really appreciate your vote for ‘Best Local Blog’
It’s that time of year again. The Austin Chronicle is asking its readers to submit ballot for their annual reader’s poll Best of Austin awards. You can vote online or by paper ballot printed in the Chron and the voting deadline is Tuesday, July 21.
This last year has been a big one for the cycling community with the passage of the Master Bike Plan and the election of a car-free cyclist, Chris Riley, to the Austin City Council. We also launched Austin on Two Wheels to cover all of Austin’s cycling culture, industry, and events. May we ask for your vote for ‘Best Local Blog’ when you cast your ballot?
There are other good bike related categories like best Bike Ride (that’s a hard one!), Bike repair, and Local Non-profit (Austin Yellow Bike Project anyone?). So cast your ballot today and you don’t have to complete the entire thing to vote!
Here are the Rules:
- Only one mail or Web ballot per person
- We need all of your contact information to accept your web entry.
- Stuffed ballots will be eliminated. Ballot stuffing is serious business. Did you know every year, competitive ballot getters are eliminated due to ballot stuffing? DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO BALLOT STUFF ON YOUR BEHALF. You may be taken out of the running for an award you otherwise might have won!
