This event was sent to me yesterday from Tasty Touring and got left off the weekly calendar roundup. It is designed as a walk, but I’m sure you can more efficiently get to your libations on your bike.
East Side Pub Crawl
Saturday, July 18
7 p.m. – Black Star Co-op July Beer Social at Kenny Dorham’s Backyard, 1106 E 11th St.
8 p.m. – Longbranch Inn
9 p.m. – Shangri La
10 p.m. – Good Knight
11 p.m. – Rio Rita Lounge
12 a.m. – Scoot Inn
From the organizers:
We hope to see you at one or lots of the stops. Feel free to follow me at www.twitter.com/tastytouring to keep up with where we are at any given time.
Bring cash, come and go whenever you please (but rough schedule for the group is below), and enjoy the walk. It takes 20 minutes from the final destination (Scoot Inn) back to the first (Longbranch) so stick with the buddy system. We also recommend calling a cab to be safe so everyone can have a good time.
Continue the Eastside trend and drop by a screening of a new movie, The Visioneers, at the Nomad on Sunday night at 8 p.m. “Visioneers” stars Zach Galifianakis — who played the weirdo brother in “The Hangover”.

Hey, I never though of this! I like the idea of taking over pedestrian events with bicycles, maybe we should try this with the Turkey Trot.
