Austin Framebuilders Happy Hour scheduled for next Monday

Rear drop outs brass brazed to stays. Right is just brazed and left is filed finished.

The Texas Custom Bicycle Show is less than six weeks away, and to whet your appetite for locally hand made bicycles, the Austin frame building community is holding hopefully what will be the first in a series of Austin Framebuilders’ Happy Hours. Local builders will have examples of their latest work, be on hand to answer questions, and participate in a short social ride afterward. There will also be more information on the upcoming Texas Custom Bicycle Show.

Austin Framebuilders Happy Hour

Doc’s Motorworks, 1123 S Congress Ave

If you are thinking about buying a custom bike, aspiring to build, or just curious to learn more about how bikes are made, stop by next Monday.
