Austin on Two Wheels is happy to announce our latest sponsor, Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop. Most people know the downtown shop at 4th and Nueces as Lance Armstrong’s bike shop, but a lot of people don’t know all the cool events and advocacy this shop does for the Austin cycling community. In addition to one time events like the Little 500 and Bicycle Movie Night, Mellow Johnny’s puts on weekly events like the Ladies Ride, Scout-a-Route, Mellow Mountain Ride, and Wednesday Night Maintenance Class. Their shop is well appointed with tons of brands including some harder to find and a full coffee shop, Juan Pelota’s. For the commuter, the shop also offers showers, lockers, and bike drop.
