Stop by the Pfluger bridge for free safety check and bike bell for 1st 50 cyclists. (Picture not necessarily the bell you'll receive.)
As part of a program to encourage bicycle commuting and good bike etiquette, the City of Austin is partnering with local bike shops to put on a series of Bike Safety Check/Trail Etiquette Station every other Thursday 7 AM- 9 AM on the Pfluger Bridge October through December.
The first will be hosted by Bicycle Sport Shop, and there will be bike adjustments and basic maintenance offered as well as info from the City of Austin on trail etiquette and preventing bike theft. Breakfast will also be provided and the first 50 commuters will receive a free bike bell. Ding ding!
