After five weeks of cancellations due to poor course conditions, the Dirt Derby is finally making its comeback tonight with cyclocross and mountain short course racing. It will be Ladies Night meaning women race free. Fellas wanting to honor our beloved, fallen Leslie can get in on the action as well but halfhearted attempts won’t cut it.

If a guy can convince registration they are worthy, then they can race for free too, but lame attempts will not be rewarded. If we get enough people we might even have some “Drag Races” in the inner loop during the beginner race time slot.

As a reminder, every time you race you are entered in a drawing for a free Violet Crown Cycles cyclocross frame set and every 4 week series you complete enters you into a drawing for a custom True Fabrication frame. Registration opens at 6:00, and the B race is at 6:30, the beginners/womens/kids race at 7:00, and the A race/Open is at 7:30.
Austin/Del Valle Motorcross Park (ADVMX), 15400 Pearce Ln in Del Valle.

Cost: $10, women, beginners and kids only $5. Second race same night $5.
