Last week’s Ladies Night and Drag Race at the Dirt Derby was a blast, but today’s downpour means the track and parking will be too muddy to race. This is a real bummer as I just built up my latest frame, a cyclocross bike, for my booth at the Texas Custom Bicycle Show and had planned to race it this week.

If the Dirt Derby is canceled, that can only mean on thing: Thy Neighbor’s Bike Alleycross.

Decided to switch up the name this time around to celebrate the gangsters of cross who have not been letting the cyclocross weather get in the way of their cyclocross racing.

Shuck Shack has also decided to celebrate the cross freaks by giving us the first round of beers on the house once we get done riding. They’ve got a sweet set-up with plentyof outdoor seating, a couple horse-shoe pits, and $2 dollar Lone Star and Pearls once the first round goes dry so get ready for some good relaxing after the pain.
