Wilolem,
English language information on this bike was pretty limited as Cannondale has just recently started leaking pictures and vague statements of the concept piece. The designer did contact me after the initial post with more information which I included at the beginning of this post.

As for chauvinism, I was more attacking the prejudices of our male dominated industry than female specific design. Bikes with this utility are marketed as women's specific because it has things like fenders, chain guard, and step through design. There is nothing women specific about that, just an industry that considers such features as girly or inferior. Instead, men are expected to ride performance bikes as urban road warriors. Bikes with designs like this would be equally useful and appropriate for men without the marketing chauvinism.

I think that you should research thoroughly before commiting to an opinion.I say this because alot of your criticism has been answered by the designer. Plus what is wrong with a female orientated design brief? chauvinism isnt big or clever.
