&quot;Economy woes be damned&quot; indeed, now that&#039;s a winning attitude! I was interested in what type of welding James is using for his bikes? Whichever processes he uses, that &quot;do it yourself&quot; attitude is surely a great way to get started, at least until a company grows to the point to where you need professional staff to take over some of the burden. Which is where it sounds like things are at now for James and Alchemy Bicycle. 

That&#039;s great to see during such a challenging time in our economy and country as a whole. It should give hope to many a small business out there, reaffirming the concept that focused effort, drive, and some innovation can still pay off. Bravo!

This is also another example of the wide variety of product categories for which welding has an integral role. Hope for my small and budding internet business!
