On Christmas Eve, I received an e-mail from Carl Jameson, the Portland based film maker, who is currently in Austin for the holidays. Jameson has put together a screening of his movie The Bicyclists this Sunday, December 27 at 6 PM at Cafe Mundi, 1704 East 5th St.

The Bicyclists is a feature length version of the online serial of the same name featuring the main character, Conrad, who moves from the Midwest to Portland to be part of the bike culture. The short film series give us some pretty hilarious examples of all the cycling community archetypes.
