South Side Bike Shop closing, everything in shop 50% off

In the fall of 2008, we reported on a south Austin bike shop that had put itself up for sale on Craig’s list. After talking to the owner, he requested that we not disclose which shop it was. It turns out South Side, the store in question, did not find a buyer and will cease operations in the near future.

While it is always a bummer to loose a local bike shop, one man’s loss can be your gain. South Side is having a store closing sale with 50% off everything in the store. So if you have a little holiday cash still jingling in your pocket, this could be your chance to pick up some bike stuff for cheap.

    Hay guys,
Sorry to hear about the bad luck. I am recently openin a bicycle retail store in Philadalphia and was wondering about fixtures and displays as well as stock on parts. If you want to get back to me I am ready to maybe jump on some of the extras. Again, Sorry about the misfortunes. Keep on trucking.
