It is big enough to hold plenty of water with ice, and it kep the ice frozen and the water cold for hours. Unfortunately, after a few months it seems to have lost its effectiveness. Water now melts within a relatively short time and while the water isn't exactly warm, I'm not sure it's much cooler than it would be in an uninsulated bottle. Not a fluke; several family members have experienced the same thing. Big disappointment. I loved the Thinksport water bottle when I first purchased it.
