Awesome rendering. The picture is missing more pedestrians. As an avid cyclist, it disturbs me when a few fellow cyclists forget to yield to our fellow pedestrians – the same ones that will soon be in an automobile and become the same drivers that we so much want to yield to us on the automobile roadways.

This is a high visibility and welcome addition for downtown bike and ped traffic downtown. I’m pleased to see other areas mentioned as well. There are dozens of opportunities around town to facilitate non motorized traffic, and I hope these get some level of attention from the city program.

The much more relevant picture is pointed northbound – at a warren of stop signs, yield signs, and sidewalk riding.
