We’ll have the weekly event round up shortly but wanted to make sure everyone was aware that Social Cycling ATX has canceled their popular weekly Thursday Night Social Ride due to the potentially icy weather tonight.

This week it just ain’t going to happen. The streets will be extra slick from the ice and unless you have some of those kick ass studded tires, then you’ll probably bust your ass. It will be wet, cold and dangerous and I don’t want to subject all of you beautiful Social Cyclist to any danger.

Instead, have a house party. Work on your bike. Spend time with that special someone who never gets to see you on Thursdays, read a book or watch some crappy reality show… just be safe whatever ya’ll do.
