What started as a Twin Cities challenge has now gone global, and with our perfect spring weather, Austin needs to step up to the 30 Days of Biking challenge. Cyclist Patrick Stephenson of St. Paul and Zachariah Schaap of Minneapolis are using Twitter to encourage everyone to get out on their bike every day this month.
The only rule for 30 Days of Biking is that you bike every day for 30 days—around the block, 20 miles to work, whatever suits you—then tweet about your adventures with the tag #30daysofbiking. Event starts on April 1 and ends on April 30!
How To Participate
Step 1
Make the pledge! Tweet @patiomensch with your pledge to participate in #30daysofbiking.
Step 2
Ride your bike. Ride to work. Ride around the block. Meet some friends and bike around town. If you’re riding your bike, you’re participating.
Step 3
Tweet about your bike ride, and include the hashtag #30daysofbiking. Read what others are tweeting, and join the conversation!
Step 4
Repeat Steps 1 & 2 each day through the month of April.
The only rule for 30 Days of Biking is that you ride your bike every day for 30 days, then tweet about your adventures with the hashtag #30daysofbiking.
