Howdy, folks. I’m back in town after a great family vacation to Lealanau County, MI where the weather was fair and the fudge flowed. If you ever get up to that part of the world, take your bike. There is some seriously great, scenic cycling with plenty of challenging if not too long hills, and I took my travel bike and got in several miles.

I also got in a little reading while I was gone and look for reviews this week of the Pop-up Tour de France Book and BikeSnobNYC‘s new book. I’m glad to be back in Austin even with the return to summer heat and look forward to getting out on my bike again.
