I picked up this book a while back, and like you, felt it didn't really entertain in the same way as the blog. I felt like there where possibly 2 decent books in there though- rip out the middle, give that to a bike snob reader, and give the rest to a beginner rider. Unfortunately, without altering the book, there is too little substance for either audience.
