On Sunday morning, Austinite John Simpson was hit and severely injured by a car while riding his bike to work. Simpson is a chef at the Austin Children’s Shelter and was hit at around 6 AM Sunday morning at the Berkman Drive and 51st Street. He is at Brackenridge Hospital and is in critical condition.
KVUE ran this story last night about the incident.
