Thanksgiving is a time not only to give thanks for all the universe has given us. It’s also a time to take that spirit of gratitude and give back to those in need. BikePortland recently posted an article about the B-Share program. Portland’s trike based delivery service B-Line is partnering with local non-profits to deliver surplus food to soup kitchens and food pantries throughout Portland. They are doing some crowdsourcing to fund this great project by asking for $20 donations which will equal the delivery of 40 meals to those who need it.
Here’s more on the program and if you are interested in buying a share, visit the B-Share site.
