In January, we published a list of all the upcoming charity rides in Central Texas for the spring. Austin on Two Wheels is pleased to announce our sponsorship of the LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour which will be happening Saturday, March 26. The ride is hosted at the LBJ National Historical Park with ride distances of 30, 42 and 62 miles plus a family 10 mile ride. There will also be a ride at 2:30 with Luci Baines Johnson leading a tour of the historical landmarks on the ranch. This is a fully supported ride with rest stops and a post-ride meal.

The LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Hill Country and learn a little bit of history about the 36th President’s Western White House. All net proceeds from the tour will go to the betterment of the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park.

Register online until midnight on Thursday, March 24 or register via mail by March 21 using the mail-in form.

Jerseys

The LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour will be producing a limited number of commemorative bicycle jerseys as part of the ride. Only 30 of these limited edition jerseys will be made, and will go on a first-come first-serve basis. Wearing this team jersey will get you a free massage at the KLBJ booth the day of the ride.
