For the last several years, Bike Hugger has hosted a SXSW social ride called the Mobile Social. It started as an informal way for cyclists and bike bloggers at SXSW to get together and meet, but with the explosion of the social cycling movement, the ride has grown into an event. On Tuesday, Bike Hugger will again host the Mobile Social with an new and improved 2 part schedule in partnership with Social Cycling Austin:
The Mobile Social SXSW is two parties now. A preparty at Frank for beer, dogs, schwag. Then we ride the Mobile Social and conclude with tacos and beer at the Gypsy Tavern.
- 5:00 – Pre-party at Frank.
- 6:00 – Social Cycling ATX gathers cyclists from Franks
- 7:00 – Meet at Festival Beach.
- 8:00 – Ride SCATX route to Gypsy Lounge.
The current RSVP on Facebook is 1500 so this thing is going to be huge!
Bike Hugger will also be hosting a SXSW panel earlier in the day for those who have SXSW Interactive Badges.
