Last week, I wrote about San Antonio getting its first bikeshare program and shared some really impressive numbers on how bikeshare has effected cycling percentages in a short time in Seville and Barcelona. London, too has a growing bikeshare program, and I discovered this really cool animation of the program on its busiest day to date, October 4, 2010. The was the day of a major transit strike, and at one point they had over 1000 bikes rented out at once. Whether you think bikeshare is the next big thing or maybe oversold, this video is extremely cool.
