Seemed a bit lighter crowd then usual…maybe it was my timing since I was a bit late everywhere.
Donuts still befuddle me. Tacos are always appreciated, as were the new bike maps.

Thanks to the League of Bicycle Voters for manning the stop at Shoal Creek “east of Far West” this AM. Good breakfast tacos, good coffee, good conversations. Seemed like a pretty steady stream of AM commuters at this stop ~7:30AM. Nice finish to a fun week!

The weather played a pretty big role in the ‘lighter’ seeming crowd, as well as having more stations throughout the city. I’ve only picked up 3 sign-in sheets so far and have over 300 signatures, so when I pick up the remaining 44 sheets, I think it will show more riders than last year, just more dispersed.
Every station did a REALLY good job this year and I’m looking forward to the afternoon stations, even if I have to get my bike a little wet

I managed to hit around 5, all were great, but the puppy at Austin Pet’s Alive on S. Lamar was the highlight!
All the stations seemed pretty deserted except Bouldin Creek.
League of Bicycling Voters is going to be at Halcyon in the evening from 4-7pm if you want to add them to your list. From their website: “Bike commuters get drink discounts, plus a 20% discount on coffee drinks and food, and prize giveaways!”

I didn’t hit any stops on the ride in, but I saw more bikes on the road this morning than usual.

Seemed like a normal day out there. Only one bike salmon riding the wrong way on 5th, but she wasn’t riding to work. The weather made for a really pleasant ride this morning, though.

I stopped at the BSS/Clif stop on Parmer and it was excellent! I didn’t see many people, but I was a bit later than normal today. I was hoping the weather wouldn’t scare too many people off.
