Texas Custom Bicycle Show looking for volunteer help

In a little over a month, a showcase of Texas bicycle framebuilders will descend on Austin for the 4th Annual Texas Custom Bicycle Show. This is a great chance to see the latest creations from Austin area and other Texas builders and based on the list of builders confirmed this will be the biggest show to date. For 2011, the show will be October 15-16 at the Austin Convention Center. This year, proceeds from the show are going to benefit the Austin Cycling Association.

To help keep this grass roots show going and get good attendance, the Texas Custom Bicycle Show is looking for volunteer helpers. They need help before the show with promotion (poster hanging, leafleting, mentions on forums and blogs, and mentioning it at cycling club meetings) and for the days of the event (logistics, load in/out, working the door, etc.). If you would like to help, please contact either Sara DeShong at staff@austincycling.org or Glenn Thompson at info@rideDaltex.com.
