Capital Metro looking for your feedback in ‘First Mile/Last Mile’ Connection Survey

Capital Metro is looking for feedback from cyclists with a brief online survey to improve and expand their services. Please take a feed minutes to take the survey.

Bicycles paired with transit makes a lot of sense. Transit greatly expands where you can go with your bike, and bikes help make transit more practical for riders by making the destinations at each stop more reachable in a short amount of time.

At November’s Bicycle Advisory Council, Capital Metro gave us a briefing on new developments for cyclist. Moving forward, the agency will be installing triple bike racks on new buses added to the fleet. Also, facilities at MetroRail stops will improve. Capital Metro will be testing a covered, secure bike parking facility at the Crestview stop with more such facilities if it is successful. The plan is to charge a small annual fee for use of these facilities. One of the questions on the survey asks for feedback on pricing for this fee.
