Doug Fattic Framebuilding Class

dougwatchsrobertbrazeIn early December, I took a two week bicycle frame building class from master framebuilder Doug Fattic in Niles, Michigan. With no previous frame building experience, I built a cromoly steel lugged Dutch style transportation bike from scratch under Doug’s supervision. I wrote a series of articles about my experience which I’ve listed below in order for easier reading. For those wanting to read about the frame building class from another perspective, check out the write up of a previous Fattic student at  Two Serious Bikes.

Those interested in taking a class with Doug Fattic can contact him at (269) 684-6761 or fatticbicycles@qtm.net. Please note that Doug gets a lot of inquiries about the class that never pan out, so I you are serious about the class, you will want to put in a deposit as soon as possible.
